The WVU Alumni Association is pleased to invite you to the Graduate Emeritus Weekend celebrating alumni who have graduated 50 or more years ago. The Class of 1963 and graduates prior to 1963 will be honored. You will be joining more than 13,000 living graduates who have previously celebrated their 50th reunion on this weekend, as well as those who have not been “officially” inducted as a Graduate Emeritus.
An exciting program has been planned for your return to the campus. You can enjoy golf, tennis, and fitness center activities at the fabulous Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa. Others will attend the Irvin Stewart Society Luncheon, a brunch, or the Order of Vandalia Ceremony/Alumni Luncheon. You are encouraged to take a bus tour of the University’s campus to witness, first hand, the growth during the past 50 years.
Throughout the two days there will be seminars offered on a wide range of topics that we are sure you will find interesting and fun. Many of the presenters are members of the Class of 1963. Many of you will also have opportunities to reconnect with your college/school during special activities.
On Saturday evening those alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago, including the Class of 1963, will be inducted as Graduates Emeritus. This ceremony will be followed by dinner and a dessert reception hosted by the WVU Foundation.
Due to space limitations on campus that weekend, most of our events will be held at Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa. They have provided great room rates and terrific facilities for us to use. We hope to see you in Morgantown for these two fun-filled days, and ask that you encourage other classmates to join you!
